I'm giving this little beauty away!
Want to win it? Here's what you gotta do- and ya have to do it all to be in the running!
1. Be a follower of this blog! 2. SHARE this post! 3. Comment on this post and let me know when you share!
I'll draw the winner using the number generator on June 1st.
Here's a lovely 8 x8 canvas that I made last week.  It was featured on the Crafty and Green blog on May 24th.
This was a lot of fun to put together. Lots of Prima and BoBunny here.

Start with a blank canvas.
Paint with brown acrylic paint. Get a cosmetic sponge and pounce it over the entire canvas while the paint is still wet.

Once the brown paint is dry, lay a stencil over the canvas, and add Bronze acrylic paint.

Cut a circle from BoBunny paper. Cut out a framed area from BoBunny paper.
Add the copper paint to the circle.

Here's your wiener! Daisy Dog on the run!

Blog Hop With Viva Las Vegas Stamps!

Ok, I have to tell you all, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Mary Vogel's designs. They are cute, whimsical, and, yes, quirky.  They end themselves to art journal pages quite well. Here's one I did using some of Mary's super awesome stamps!

Coat page with two colors of pastel, using the sponge. When you like it, spray with fixative.
Place the stencil on the page, and paint inside the shapes with gesso.  Dry.  Gently rub ink pad over  page. Dry.  Punch circles from BoBunny paper.  Punch small circles from paper scraps. Place the circl…

Easy Canvas Prints

I have this adorable canvas with Sammy's photo from when he was a baby!! Seriously, HOW CUTE was he!
The company is called Easy Canvas Prints- Your Photos on Canvas. AWESOME!!!!

Sammy was about 5 weeks old here a whopping 2 pounds.  He was so tiny, so sweet. We fell in love with him right away!

It was super easy to get this done. I went to their site, upload my photo, chose the side color, and got it in about 2 weeks. This would be an AWESOME Mother's day gift, or a grandparent gift.

The grey I chose perfectly matched the sidewalk.
I LOVE this print, and plan to get another one, maybe 12x12, of  THIS photo of Daisy Dog.
Definatley check out Easy Canvas prints.  They are FAST, and the prices are pretty good.

A Sad, Sad Day

I have had a rough day today. While working on kits for Saturday's workshop, my MacBook Pro started acting funny. The Silhouette Studio program froze up, so I tried to restart the computer, thinking it was the program...the thought that it was the computer didn't even cross my mind- I've not had any trouble with it at all. Well, it wouldn't shut down, and the fans kicked on high gear. I left it alone for a bit, unplugged everything from it (I hook it to a large external monitor and keyboard)-30 minutes later the fans were STILL going full bore!! Asked around a bit, was given a few things to try. Nothing worked. The fans ran for at least 45 minuts before they quit. I am SOOOOOO upset!!! I've never been so attached to an electronic item lol Of course it's out of warranty, if only by a few months (March 5th!) now the decision is: do I pay to fix it (if it can be fixed) or just replace it?!? AND, as much as I loved my Mac, my HP lasted me 6 years with …

Happy NSD!

Hello everyone, happy National Scrapbook/Cinco De Derby Day!
Here's some random stuff I've done over the last year or so.
My running/weight loss journal. I'm using a Fancy Pants brag book, lots of wash tape, bling, and sprays. This is an ongoing project.
This is a wooden cradled board, turned around back cards to create a shadow box. The branches, flowers, leaves, and birds are all resin (Amazing Crafting Resin).
Teeny 4x4 canvas I made for a friend with resin, paint, beads, and lots more.
OK, these are a couple of years old but I love them! Scrabble tile charms.
Tag that will be a make n take this weekend in Greenfield, Indiana.
Tag from Christmas 2011.

These two cards use Jillibean Soup goodies and Viva Las Vegas wiener dog stamp.
More Jillibean & Viva Las Vegas.

Tim Holtz paper and House Mouse. I love this card!

Amazing Crafting Resin. I LOVE these!
