Hello my fine feathered friends! How are you this fine Friday? Me, I'm in bed trying to get over a lovely combination of the flue and strep. Oh boy! The tag I whipped up for you today makes me laugh. For some reason this lady reminds me of Mrs Garret- remember, from The Facts of Life in the 80's?? This tag uses a few of my favorite Ranger goodies,  and a stamp that is the PERFECT sentiment for us stamp-a-holics! Ready? On with the show!! Supplies: Tag scrap of patterned paper scrap of manilla paper black ink (I used Archival) watercolor pencils scissors Miracle tape STAMPS!!! ( Lady Pointing & Hand over the stamps ) water heat gun Distress Re-inker (Mustard Seed) Perfect Pearls (Sunflower Sparkle) mister bottle (I use Mini Misters) In a mister bottle, combine one dropper full of Distress Ink, some Perfect Pearls, and water. Shake well, and spray all over the tag. Dry with heat tool. Now, spray some water in your hand, and flick the water onto the tag. The water w...

*sigh*  I LOVE this guy!!  Super awesome big pink tool box that now resides in my studio!  Ranger technique class....wanna come take it?  SMILE!  Oh to be as happy as a wiener in a swing...  Ring made with Amazing Casting Resin with a little Perfect Pearls mixed in,  and Silver Metallic Mixative rubbed on top.  YEAH!!  This was at the AMP booth at CHA. When I get it back, it's going to hang in my living room.  Couple that got engaged right in front of us at Disney World!  Pretty little wiener !  Cannot WAIT to go back! Pete and I at Disney World. Do you ever feel like you've got too much going on? Like you can't breathe? Like, while your life may be good, it's too much? Yeah? Me, too!! I'm a busy chick! 3 teenagers, 3 dogs, one husband, home to run, errands to run, people & pets to care for, a business to run, art to make, ideas to conceive, networking to do, on, and on, and , well, you get the point. We're all so busy. But sometimes you reach the point where it's TOO MUCH, and you can't focus. That's where I am now. I haven't painted in a year. I haven't picked up the charcoal in at least 4 months. It makes me sad. My house is a DISASTER!  It drives me batty. I handle a billion and one things every day, but do none of them WELL. And Im over tired, cranky, and SNIPPY. I don't have time to play with my kids. Or my wieners. Hello again! We recently rearranged our very small living room because we bought a new sofa. I also converted a baby changing table into an entertainment stand (our tv hangs on the wall)  for the video games and what not. It's looking pretty cool, I have to say. I have this dilemma, however- what to do with the wall around the tv? I was going to put photos there, but thought that would be too distracting. I was going to hang a few pieces of my art there, but thought it would be too distracting. What to do? While wandering around a certain large chain craft store one day, I spied this little cutie in the clearance corner, and yes, she came home with me! So I thought, Heck I can mold this! And make more!
