God must have loved calories...

Hello out there!

I hope you're having a wonderful day!
Here in Ohio, we are finally seeing signs of spring,
and have had a couple of wonderfully warm days.

I have a fun little project for you today.
Sometimes, we can use our stamps to create elements
for other things...
The stamps don't always have to be a finished project in and of themselves.

Today I made a fun little element for my
weight loss Smash Book.

Here's the little piece before I added it to my book.

Wanna make it?
Alllllllllll righty then!

What you need:
Kraft card stock
Die and die cutter or electronic die cutter
White gel pen
Black pigment ink
Viva Las Vegas Super Gloss Embossing Powder
Washi tapes
Vintage Photo Distress Ink & blending tool
Scrap of white card stock
Miracle Tape sheet
Scissors
Heat tool
Stuff to color with (I used markers Faber Castell )
STICKLES!! (Fruit Punch and Goldenrod)
Heart stickers (or punchies, or die cuts)
Shimmer spritz (I used Smooch Spritz)

What to do:

Ink the edges of your die cut shape with Vintage Photo
Distress ink using the blending tool.
Vintage Photo.

Slap on some washi tape,
add some little X's using the white gel pen.

Stamp words with black pigment ink and emboss.
Spray with Smooch Spritz. Dry.
Add a heart.
Stamp bird onto piece, right on top of the washi tapes.
Stamp him again on white card stock, and emboss.

Color the bird (isn't he fun!).
Trim closely, and put onto a sheet of Miracle Tape.
Cut out completely.

Add the bird to the piece right over the stamped image.
I like to do this because I AM NOT cutting out all of
his little extra hairs and feathers and stuff.
Add a little Goldenrod Stickles to his beak,
and a little Fruit Punch Stickles under where he's sitting.

Here he is added into my home made
Smash Book. I used Miracle Tape to stick it into my book,
and added a flower.

I hope you enjoyed this one!

HAPPY SPRING!!!!

And, here's your wiener!
Actually, two wieners and a cattle dog, enjoying a little
spring time play time.
