A Little Monkey Lovin' Valentine

Yep, I'm getting a jump start on Valentine's cards this year!
 
This cute (if I do say so myself!) card uses the Holiday Monkey stamp set from My Stamp Box.
I stamped him on kraft card stock using black Mixed Media ink and then embossed it using black embossing powder from My Stamp Box. I REALLY like their EPs
 
 
This card was pretty easy to make. Stamp and emboss the monkey and cut out.
Cut out sentiment on the Cameo out of glitter paper.
Stamp hearts (also from the Holiday Monkey set) using Cardinal & Turquoise VersaColor inks.
Add some sticker hearts, place monkey on card, and add the sentiment.
 
 
 
And here's your wiener...

Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Design Team at Altered Pages  has been working with PINK! I LOVE pink, and I love Halloween,  so I thought to myself, "self, how can we use pink with Halloween?" Well, I came up with an answer, and I hope you like it. I used collage sheet  "Screaming Skulls" for this tag, and use two image transfer techniques. Here's a quick tutorial: Ink tag with Distress Inks- Victorian Velvet, Spun Sugar, and Worn Lipstick. Stamp back ground stamp with Worn Lipstick, and again (offset) with Vintage Photo. Flick some water onto the tag. Dry with heat gun, then ink the edges of the tag with a  little Vintage Photo. Print the Screaming Skulls collage sheet twice. Cut out the anatomy skulls. Paint the image with some matte medium, mod podge, or cheap Elmer's white glue, and slap it face down onto the tag.
