Image
I'm giving this little beauty away! Want to win it? Here's what you gotta do- and ya have to do it all to be in the running! 1. Be a follower of this blog! 2. SHARE this post! 3. Comment on this post and let me know when you share! I'll draw the winner using the random.org number generator on June 1st. Here's a lovely 8 x8 canvas that I made last week.  It was featured on the Crafty and Green blog on May 24th. This was a lot of fun to put together. Lots of Prima and BoBunny here. Start with a blank canvas. Paint with brown acrylic paint. Get a cosmetic sponge and pounce it over the entire canvas while the paint is still wet. Once the brown paint is dry, lay a stencil over the canvas, and add Bronze acrylic paint. Cut a circle from BoBunny paper. Cut out a framed area from BoBunny paper. Add the copper paint to the circle. Here's your wiener! Daisy Dog on the run!

I have this adorable canvas with Sammy's photo from when he was a baby!! Seriously, HOW CUTE was he! The company is called Easy Canvas Prints- Your Photos on Canvas. AWESOME!!!! Sammy was about 5 weeks old here a whopping 2 pounds.  He was so tiny, so sweet. We fell in love with him right away!  It was super easy to get this done. I went to their site , upload my photo, chose the side color, and got it in about 2 weeks. This would be an AWESOME Mother's day gift, or a grandparent gift. The grey I chose perfectly matched the sidewalk. I LOVE this print, and plan to get another one, maybe 12x12, of  THIS photo of Daisy Dog. Definatley check out Easy Canvas prints.  They are FAST, and the prices are pretty good.

A Sad, Sad Day

I have had a rough day today. While working on kits for Saturday's workshop, my MacBook Pro started acting funny. The Silhouette Studio program froze up, so I tried to restart the computer, thinking it was the program...the thought that it was the computer didn't even cross my mind- I've not had any trouble with it at all. Well, it wouldn't shut down, and the fans kicked on high gear. I left it alone for a bit, unplugged everything from it (I hook it to a large external monitor and keyboard)-30 minutes later the fans were STILL going full bore!! Asked around a bit, was given a few things to try. Nothing worked. The fans ran for at least 45 minuts before they quit. I am SOOOOOO upset!!! I've never been so attached to an electronic item lol Of course it's out of warranty, if only by a few months (March 5th!)...so now the decision is: do I pay to fix it (if it can be fixed) or just replace it?!? AND, as much as I loved my Mac, my HP lasted me 6 years with a
